One Paragraph, One Video

Blog Harbor and CGabriel.com
When last we met, I was discussing the nature of blogs. Some of them are short, creative gems offering little more than a video with one sentence of introduction along the lines of ”Check it out dudes, this video rocks!” And it usually does. At the other end of the spectrum . . . there’s my blog. Some have accused me of writing blogs that simply are too long to read through to the end. Others, like my friend Paulie, have suggested I should write a synopsis detailing the subject matter of the blog. Then, he will decide if the thousand-or-so words are worthy of his time. It should be noted Paulie rarely makes it through reading a food label at the grocery store. And so, I promised in Blog Harbor’s previous offering, Long Day’s Journey Into Blog, that my next piece would be one paragraph, one video, with the hope of appeasing a few people. Like Paulie. With that, what follows is an animated short by Oscar-nominated Bruno Bozzetto illustrating quite humorously, if not a bit graphically, the extremes of living in an apartment building in, or near, the city. Check it out dudes, this video rocks!

Look at it this way, you’re half as old as Jimmy Stewart would have been today. Wait… is that good???

That reminds me of our apt in Rye NY. Laura and I would lie in the floor with our ears to the wood floor to eavesdrop on crazy Maria downstairs. Then, she’d come knock on our door at night when we had friends over to tell us to be quiet!
