I'm a White Sox fan from California, go figure. I'm frequently asked why. Haha.

"Sitting anywhere in U.S. Cellular gives you a view of . . . well, not much. "

Sitting anywhere in US Cellular gives you a view of the most important thing at a ball game. The field. No beams or people walking in aisles in front of you. Every seat at Sox park has a good view to the field (even the under appreciated upper deck).

I'll admit Wrigley is kind of neat and if I have out of town guests it is the place to show them. But, if you want to go someplace to watch a baseball game US Cellular is the place to be in Chicago.

Boo to the Northside Pity! Go Sox!

I live in a divided home - I, the smart one, cheer for the White Sox. The other and less intelligent (not really) person in the house, unbelievably roots for the Cubs. After any Sox win/Cubs loss, he is quick to tell me that the Sox must have cheated to win and the team (the Rays) cheated to beat the Cubs.

Typical Northside whining...:)

Great post. I loved it.
