I thought it might be nice to take a moment to reflect on the direction and goals for my new radio program at AM 970 WDAY in Fargo (ND).

Christopher,
I just got back from a few days and I found your site. You look younger! I think I look older. And maybe that’s how it should be.
Best of luck with the show and the move and all else. Check my newly revised website to know more about my new book, etc. Keep in touch as you progress with your career. Greetings to you and your family.
All best,
Ron

Nice haircut. Great shades. Excellent mission statement. Dreadful mike work. Sounded like you were on a B-52 base. A staggering step down from your usual high quality. Has all the good gear gone to the radio station? Do we not deserve high production values any more? Was it Wendy’s day off? Please don’t leave us little people behind! P.

Paul, I think you’ve now seen quite clearly from the power of this video the limitations placed on me by my back-to-nature, adjusting-to-the-economy office/studio. One week it’s Guinea Hens, the next it’s a brisk 65 mph breeze. Just last week we had to scrap our How to Train Your Goat to Be a Master Gardener instructional video because a 90 mph wind gust lifted the thing off the ground and sent it into the next county….the goat’s fine, by the way. A little shaken up, but fine.
And you’re correct in asking if it was Wendy’s day off. Today, we had a temp behind the camera and running audio: LuLu. She insisted to me everything was set up perfectly for a superb video…
…Did I mention the woman is a storm chaser? She kept mumbling to herself, “….if we’re lucky, we’ll get an F-3.” She’s done. Finished. From now on, it’s Wendy and only Wendy. Of course this does increase her bargaining power with me when her current contract expires.

I’m behind you every step of the way. I’ll do everything in my power to help you put your show into the top ten…thousand. And beyond!

10,000 of bust, bay-bee! It’s those over-looked, under-valued stars where all the fun and joy lies. Best kept secret.
Cheers to you, Wendy & the little sparkles! – Bethe

It was good to see the palatial offices of the CGProgram in the background of this somewhat sonically lacking video. I was looking forward to the grand tour upon my visit in August. I wonder… will you be utilizing similar office space in Fargo?

That was so funny. I loved it
I know I’m not the only one with a super dry, and wacky sense of humor.
With that said, it is nice to see it.
Plus, I can’t wait to call in on the new show.
Come on top 9,999!

Top Ten………….thousand! Way to GO! It’s awesome to have goals.
LuLu knew the storm chasing sound effects would add to your outreach.
Is 970 AM WDAY in Fargo (ND) online? I’d like to listen, I am a Christopher Gabriel Groupie after all.
Break a Leg!

Many thanks to all of you – de-I, sage mcgreen, thedailyuplift, PhillyPat, Bethe, Terri, Paul and Ron – for your good wishes as we…together…strive to break into the 10,000 best talk shows list.
I don’t want to reach too far, too fast. That’s not my style. That’s not my comfort zone. That’s just not possible, to be completely honest with you.

Hey – we’ll listen at the tavern!
Is it available online, or podcast?
[Reply]
I would love to have the whole gang at Oscar’s Tavern listen in…dare I say, become regulars?
To go straight to the Live Stream, simply click on the “On Air” button in the sidebar. I’ll be premiering a new website soon and the same “On Air” button will be there as well.
Thank you for the good wishes!!

I’m gonna have something cool to listen to at work now. My Pandora radio seems to be repeating myself quite a bit lately. This will be a refreshing change. I’m really excited for you. I know you’re going to do an awesome job. I think the top 10,000 is shooting low.
