The CG Program: Friday, July 17

Weekdays 9 to NoonOn today’s program, we’ll be going live to the news conference announcing the merger of MeritCare and Sanford Health.  We’ll talk about it with Al Amodt and break down the bullet points.  And we’ll want to hear from you on whether or not you think this will be a good thing for our area.

On the program today, the founder and author of The Grass Stain Guru, Bethe Almeras.  She’ll be talking with us live from Washington D.C. on Free Range Kids.  Also we’re expecting Jeanne Wolf to call in from Los Angeles.  Jeanne is the West Coast Editor of Parade Magazine and we’ll get our weekly does of Hollywood from the always entertaining Ms. Wolf.

Also, today is week two for our look back into The WDAY Archives.  Radio Production Director Steve Tschida and I have some very cool stuff cooked up for you.

Finally, we may even chat for a few moments with 6 News anchor Kerstin Kealy.  We believe we’ve gotten to the bottom of The Squirrel that Tried to Take Down WDAY.  Kerstin knows all and we’re hoping she’ll tell all.

Along with the usual players – Top 5 @ 10, The One Minute of Your Life You’ll Never Get Back and This Day in History – we’re all set for Friday’s program, Live from Fargo.
