The CG Program: Monday, July 20

On today’s program, our Monday Sports Wrap regular, Dom Izzo, returns! Well…we think he returns. He’s back from vacation but the question remains: Is he back in the CG fold or, do we need to go to the bullpen and bring in the closer, Stephanie Goetz? Find out in hour number two.
Also, we’ve been working on getting Lt. Col. Deanna Germain on the program. She’s from Park Rapids, MN and is planning a book on her time spent in Iraq’s Abu Ghraib prison as a nurse. She’s set for hour number 3 but there’s a chance she’ll be moved to later in the week. I wish we could be more definitive but every once in a while, this is as close as we can come to offering a confirmation. We’ll let you know at the top of the program.
Talkers today include the minimum wage going up in North Dakota (and 29 other states including Minnesota) – does this help and hurt, or is it a good thing all around? Today is the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon. We’ll take a look back. And legendary broadcaster Walter Cronkite died over the weekend at 92 years of age. We’ll talk about the great Mr. Cronkite as well.
Along with the usual players – Top 5 @ 10, The One Minute of Your Life You’ll Never Get Back and This Day in History – we’re all set for Monday’s program, Live from Fargo.
