The CG Program: Wednesday, July 22

On today’s program, Dr. Neale Fretwell (Head Companion Animal Geneticist at Mars Veterinary) joins us to talk about DNA for animals. He developed the Wisdom Panel MX test. Put another way, it’s the gold standard in mixed-breed genetic identification for dogs. He was scheduled to be with us yesterday but travel delays kept him from a phone.
Today’s talkers include a discussion we weren’t able to get to yesterday: Medical records. Have you ever tried to obtain your own medical records? I’m going to share my story and you tell me what’s wrong with the picture. Also, a highly-regarded African American professor at Harvard is arrested in his home. Was it justified or racial profiling?
Along with the usual players – Top 5 @ 10, The One Minute of Your Life You’ll Never Get Back and This Day in History – we’re all set for Wednesday’s program, Live from Fargo.
