Eye on Monday: The Radio Station

This is NOT WDAY in Fargo

The word on the street is that the station in the picture above is where I work in Fargo.  I’m here to confirm…it’s not.  Repeat:  This is not WDAY.

There are no mountains in, around or near Fargo.  I’ll admit, the person looking out the window in the light green building does look like me but that’s beside the point.

Now, did I once work at the station above?  Maybe.  Maybe not.  Granted, our last family Christmas picture had mountains, several satellites and a short radio tower in it but I think you’ll agree, that kind of shot could be anywhere.

Hehe now THAT is in the middle of nowhere. It looks pretty cool though; is that fog rolling off of the mountains? I wish we had mountains around here to look at.

OK. So it’s not WDAY. Be honest. This is your new home, isn’t it? You’re a t.v. addict and those are your satellite dishes. One of them carries a feed from Greece. Does Wendy know how bad this addiction has become? I think it’s time for an intervention.

She didn’t know………….until you had to spoil it. :-)

There are few things better on Saturdays in the fall than watching college football on one 50-inch flat screen right next to Greek Dancing with The Flaming Ouzo Stars on another.

Very cool picture. It’s kinda funny. A lone radio station, and no other civilization around anywhere.

If you managed to get that big radio dish horizontal and pipe the station’s propane under it, you could have a crack at the world’s biggest stir fry record! :)
