This Week’s Column in The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead
Christopher Gabriel | Jan 20, 2010 | Comments 3
My column in the Forum this week is on the art scene in Fargo and how it relates to other cities. I’m once again a little late on the draw but no matter; the column is there for the reading. Hope you enjoy it!
WARNING: The elements of satire, irony and parody, in varying degrees, are at work in this and every column I write at the Forum. Friends don’t let friends read without this knowledge.

CG,
Love it.
The only part that is even more entertaining than your work is reading people try to be smart during those negative responses to it.
The comments are almost as funny as your work!
Sorry if that sounds mean, but come on people…

That was supposed to say, “people trying to be smart…”
And now I am the one trying to be smart.

Hey MD – I understood what you were getting at. It really boggles the mind to read some of the comments. Yours is one of many comments or emails I’ve received saying much the same thing. I write a piece on the Fargo art scene saying I LIKE the Fargo art scene – several respond telling me “if you don’t like it here, get out.” Or the the one guy who said i.e. “the roads into Fargo lead out of Fargo, too… just in case you were wondering.”
But I appreciate them weighing in. I try to provide them with laughs; they certainly provide me with laughs. It’s a good relationship.
CommentLuv is a WordPress plugin that allows a person commenting who has a blog of their own to have their most recent post listed and linked back to their website. It’s a nice feature that acts as a “Thank you for stopping by… hopefully someone will see your most recent post and click on it.” The idea behind CommentLuv is to build community among blogs.
