Storage Wars’ Barry Weiss (audio)

Every now and again I get the opportunity to chat with someone from the entertainment world who is The Genuine Article. A person who wasn’t created by Hollywood but most certainly will be copied by Hollywood.

Barry Weiss is one of the stars of A&E’s mega-hit, Storage Wars. Five individuals going to abandoned storage lockers and bidding in a live auction for the chance that maybe something unique and valuable is lurking underneath a matress, old clothes or hiding in a box.

Barry joined me from Chicago to talk everything from the program to baseball.

Four months later Barry joined me from the Sana Cruz (Calif.) area, live on the set of Storage Wars. Not only did we get to hear an auction as it unfolded with A&E cameras rolling, we spoke with several other cast members including buyers Dave Hester and Darrell Sheets, and auctioneer Dan Dotson.

    killer interview with the great Barry Weiss. I am looking forward to his new late night TV show on NPR. Should be debuting this fall.

    Barry, I think that you, Jarrod & Brandie should go together on some of the storage units. The ones you throw away, they can use in there store & I’m pretty sure they would pay u for it.
