Jim Meskimen is a wonderfully talented actor and comedian. He’s also not too bad as an impressionist. Most recently he had the opportunity to perform a series of shows and conduct workshops in England and then upon returning to the United States, Jim dialed it up in Chicago and Toronto.

It had been too long since we had Jim on the program (first interview can be found here… just scroll down a bit) so we booked him for today. What I didn’t know until moments before bringing him on was that he was in Crawford, Texas… apparently, an invited guest to the ranch of former President George W. Bush.

Two months later on December 13, former President George W. Bush decided he wanted to come back on the program. I’m not quite sure how we were able to impress Mr. Bush so much that he wanted to return but suffice it to say, we were delighted. Curiously, Jim has become a traveling partner of the former President. This afforded us the opportunity to speak with him once more before Christmas. And much to our delight, we were able to receive Christmas greetings and blessings from Robin Williams before we wrapped things up. The company Jim travels with never fails to impress.

Now it’s February of 2012 and Jim is back with his take on the presidential election. From the GOP candidates to President Obama… and even a Valentine’s Day greeting from Robin Williams.
